One of my favorite things about Kajabi is that they never stop developing new features. This makes customers like me VERY happy! They didn't stop at providing us the ability to host online courses and membership sites, have a Kajabi site, and do our email marketing.

Nope. Since I've been a customer (late 2016), they've added features like: Pipelines (now renamed Funnels), 1:1 Coaching, Podcast, new Page templates, along with new and better Course and Site Frameworks for an overall better and better Kajabi experience. Kajabi's email feature in that time has gone from a sort of barebones way to send out promotional emails to a full-fledged, top-of-the-line mailing service provider.

A common misconception about Kajabi is that it's "just" a course creation platform. It gets lumped in with Thinkific, Teachable, et al as software that can house your course and allow you to charge people to access it.

One of the best things about using Kajabi is that it's really flexible. With each of its features, there are lots of options to choose from that you can personalize to how YOU want things set up for your business. 

I've worked with other platforms and, believe me, flexibility isn't a given. Some platforms are kind of "my way or the highway" in many respects. So we're really lucky as Kajabi users to have the choices we do.

Two Ways to Build a Website in Kajabi

One of these areas of great flexibility is in building your website on Kajabi. Instead of just one option, there are actually two main ways you can do it:

1. Using a combination of building your main website with Website Pages, then adding additional pages with Landing Pages

On 05-21-21, Kajabi announced an exciting update to their email marketing feature:

One of our most requested updates is the ability to edit email sequences and email broadcasts with the same easy-to-use visual editor. We’re happy to announce this feature is now available on Kajabi.

No matter what platform you use to send marketing emails to your list (including Kajabi), you may have noticed it's getting harder to get past the spam filters of popular providers like Gmail. Their algorithm is getting tougher and tougher to get through.

In fact, Gmail has one of the best "junk mail banners" in the business AND they claim a huge portion of the marketshare; not a great combination to go against for the email marketer.

You can be doing everything "right" and sending from a trusted sender (like Kajabi) and still be bummed about your deliverability rates at times. I mean, your list can't learn to know/like/trust you and eventually buy from you if you can't even get through. Frustrating!

I'll dare to say that this is one of the most exciting Kajabi feature releases of all time! It's been in beta testing for a bit now and, after teasing us about it HERE on 11-04, it was officially released on 11-07-19!

• invite suggestions and feedback
• improve and add features (for the same price)
• communicate their plans for what's next

The "Old" Solutions for Updates and Feedback

Prior to now, Kajabi used ProductBoard software to collect feedback. 

To share updates on new features and progress leading up to new releases, they used this Kajabi-based Changelog. Again, HERE's the link and a screenshot but presumably it will be shut down with the advent of their new solution for feedback and updates.
