I have BIG news!!! Kajabi has been hard at work on improving and updating the user interface of their application. They just announced that it's ready for all of us to try in beta!

Never tried Kajabi, the industry's best all-in-one online platform? Why not? Nothing to lose really. With my Partner link, you receive 30 days for free. What a deal :)
According to Kajabi, the new design aims to make your Kajabi experience easier and more intuitive.
"With the latest improvements to Kajabi's design, you will experience a faster editing experience, reduced latency, and faster load times, allowing you to build and navigate your Kajabi account faster and easier than ever!"
As soon as you login (or re-login) to your Kajabi account, you should see this:
Just click the "Start the tour" button and you'll be walked through everything step-by-step! I'd definitely suggest taking the tour so you can see where everything is now and how it operates. I think overall you'll be thrilled with the updates!
If the new look isn't already active in your account, you'll need to turn it on. Go to Settings, Labs, and toggle on "A simpler redesigned Kajabi":
You may need to refresh your page, clear cache, re-login again but then you should see it. If not, you can email [email protected] and they'll get you sorted :)
With all this talk of redesign, I though it would be fun to look at Kajabi's history on the matter.
I've been a Kajabi user since 2016. If I recall correctly, only one other major backend design change has occurred during that time.
Even prior to that, from 11-16-15, here's a screen grab from a YouTube video where co-founder Kenny explained what was "new" back then with New Kajabi (it now goes by just "Kajabi").
Yeah, that's pretty much how it looked whenI joined Kajabi a year later. The menu on the left was encased in a black bar and pretty much every action you could take in Kajabi happened there.
Then at some point, Kajabi changed the interface to this:
And now here's a look at the newest iteration of the backend aka customer-facing side of Kajabi in 2022! One thing that's noticeable right away is how the light grey background has moved from the main part of the page over to the left. Everything old is new again, lol.
I also dig these modern-looking graphics they're using AND that they're doing a better job of highlighting all the myriad of ways that Kajabi helps their customers to succeed.
Dohhhhhnuuuuuttt .... π©
Any time you need help inside Kajabi - whether a quick and easy question or a more in-depth dilemma - I'd highly suggest you start at Hero HQ.
It's a new page Kajabi has put together that kind of wrangles all the ways they can help into one place. You don't have to remember or bookmark all of them, just bookmark this page instead.
Kajabi Hero HQ can be found at Kajabi.com/hero-hq
What did you think? If you want to learn even more, read all about it here on the "What's New on Kajabi" page π€Έπ½π€ΈπΌβοΈπ€ΈπΌβοΈ
Before I sign off, I just wanted to share one more look at Kajabi's gorgeous new layout and design. Here's what the Kajabi University page looks like, with some branching out on their branding colors - HOT PINK and purple! Very nice.
Don't forget to provide your feedback once you've had a chance to play around with the new setup. Kajabi can't improve upon it or answer specific concerns about the redesign if they don't know about them, right?
So SPEAK UP! Let your voice be heard by submitting any feedback - good or bad - via this Kajabi Redesign Feedback form.
I haven't had a chance to work inside the new backend very much yet other than duplicating and updating a page for a project. But what I've found just via writing this blog post is ... for those of us working on a small laptop screen (I have a MacBook Air 13"), it's challenging.
If I zoom in enough to read the teeny tiny type, then everything else becomes so oversized, it either bleeds off the sides of the screen or makes things like using the expansion box impossible. Maybe there's something I'm doing wrong, idk. [Note: It got somewhat better when I changed my Chrome font size from large back to medium ... but it's a struggle for middle-aged eyes, I tell ya'!]
So I'll be using the form above to submit this early feedback and then any other issues I come across, and also just a general thank you and appreciation for all Kajabi has done here. I know if there's a way they can remedy our issues, they will do their best!
Enjoy the new look of Kajabi and remember to check out Kajabi Hero HQ!
