On Fridays, I post some #FridayFun for you! These are just little extras to make you smile, laugh, feel inspired, and be encouraged in your online course, membership, or service business with Kajabi.

 

This week, I'm sharing a recent "Fireside Chat" by Kajabi's Jay (Partner Program) with Jeremy (Chief Product Officer). While it is fun to watch - complete with laptop yule log - it's also very enlightening 🔥. 

 




Jobs to be Done (JTBD) vs Ideal Customer Avatar (ICA)

Jeremy explains the framework that Kajabi uses to figure out what customers need and how to fulfill those needs. This includes things like:

  • The "Four Forces" that drive consumer behavior
  • How a "Job Story" (instead of a "Customer Avatar") helps you build better products
  • What is the job that Kajabi solves for customers?

 

"Main job: Kajabi exists to build and scale your digital products business"

In my observation, it's a responsibility that Kajabi takes very seriously, as they've proven over time. They consistently survey their customers, watch their behavior, introduce new features, and improve those features so their customers are working with the superior product - so that we can best serve OUR customers.
